Research In Motion (RIM) as a Blackberry producer has created the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, which is intended for the Mac platform. Since October 2 last, this software can be downloaded from BlackBerry users who have a Mac, for free.
RIM, based information, this application has been designed to easily synchronize the contacts, schedules, calendar, notes, and some other related things between the Mac to the BlackBerry.
The users can enjoy data transfer applications such as iCal, Address Book, Microsoft Entourage and so on, besides autmatic backups and software updates.
"Blackberry Desktop Manager will integrate the BlackBerry Media Sync, which allows Mac users to connect their music collection in iTunes, with BlackBerry," said the RIM as quoted by Alltech from Softpedia, Monday (5/10/2009).
Further explained that this application has a minimum running on Mac OS 10.5.5 and above (for Mac OS X v10.6, support only 32-bit versions). While it is also necessary BlackBerry OS 4.2 or above. For the synchronization problem, the minimum required iTunes v7.7.1 or above.
